The company performs traditional puppet pieces, modern dance works and innovative mixed media productions based in the art of story telling. Through the use of visual and performance art forms, Puppe’n’Dance creates meaningful and enjoyable ‘parable art’ that brings to life folk tales from around the world. Puppe’n’Dance’ artists have worked with New Jersey Department of Education in bringing dance and puppets into the public schools, and have provided master classes for schools, churches and community-based organizations. Puppe’n’Dance is recognized for its ability to provide quality art for any age, organization and community, and received The National Conference for Community and Justice Best Practices Award 2003, and has received financial support from Middlesex County Cultural and Heritage Commission, Burlington Cultural Commission and The Puffin Foundation.
